Over 15 years ago I create a ficticious world that all of my work exists in (an early shared universe if you will). A few years ago, some friend and I came up with a fake band named "Foolish Creeper" and recently I've been going through their catalogue creating the artwork for their albums. Starting in the early 80's and spanning 15 albums up to the modern age, it's been a fun task at recreating the style of artwork over the years.
This one, dating the late 80's emulates the fad of using classic artwork in a new way, while limiting the design to a narrow box in the middle. See covers by U2 for reference.
